Sir: I beg to hand you herewith the Bond and leases, in quintriplicate, covering the lease of the grazing lands on the Uintah Indian Reservation known as Strawberry Valley, for a term of five years, as shown in the lease. The form of the lease and bond are those sent to me by Mr. Robert Waugh, the Agent at the reservation, and are those ot the Department. The bondsmen, Mr. Mayer Goldsmith and Mr. Ferdinand Forsch are both well known merchants in the City of New York and are of undoubted responsibility.
