Show 38G 9 When persons have both English (or Spanish) names eaoh should be given,and great care taken to have the nemos properly spelled and very plainly written* The sex and age of oach allottee should be givon in the proper column. ?he colusm of remarks should indicate whether eajjh desorip* tion is agricultural or grazing land* The schedules should bo tarda in duplicate end properly ecrtiy fied* As before Indicated, allotments should first be lrade upon the Unoompahgro Reservation aa designated on tho map and then upon that portion of the Uintah neaorvation upon which tho Uncompahgrea are located,and elsewhere upon the Uintah Reservation as they may se-lact* It la not thought that any Unaompahgroo will desire allotments outside of the two roservaticna, but if ouch should be the case, you will allot such unoooupicd and unentered lands elsewhere in Utah as they may soleet, auoh lands being of ocurae. non-mineral* A considerable portion of tho two reservations have been surveyed. Plats and field-notes of the surveys of the lands occupied by the Uncompahgre a (so far as surveyed) will be found at tha Agency. Plats and notes of the remaining surveyed portion of the Uintah Reservation will be sent you at an early date. |
