You ..ill, however, inform the two men named, and the other four associated »/Uh them that persistence in their opposition to the policy of the government ^(j to your authority will result in thoir summary removal from the reservation, as suggested by you. As the Department has ample authority to direct such removal they should be •warned of tho rosult of thoir persistance in the course they have hitherto pursued. You will endeavor to overcome their opposition in this way and by the use of such other mean3 a3 you deem proper,and if they still persist in their course, report the matter to this office with further recominendation.
