Owing to many of the Indians of the Territory, being inaccessible at present, and this appropriation being held to pave the way, for treaties with them all it would be as well probably to not forward any or at least a much greater amount in goods as many unexpected expenses are likely to occur, in which the money could be used to the best advantage; moreover if goods should be needed they could most likely he obtained here. A large amount should obviously be left for incidental expenses, I therefore close the Estimate with the foregoing; the prices are designed to deliver them here, of course they may vary some either way, yet it is as correct as can be made at present.
