| Description |
After the Shin-au-av brothers awoke from the slumber they found they had lost all their hair (or fur). They soon discover that insects had taken their hair and put it on a great object which rose up into the heavens. This story explains the Ute idiom 'the man in the moon' as it is the lost hair of Shin-au-av. |
