Title Gingerbread Trim
Description GINGERBREAD TRIM The following section of pictures of Gingerbread Trim of homes throughout Sanpete is printed in honor of those pioneers who brought with them a love of beauty and the artisan skills to create it when they came to settle this valley. At least two of the homes pictured were among the first that were built outside the Fort in Ephraim in the early 1860's. This type of architecture became widely used during the 1880's and 1890 's and added grace and charm to the solid structure of the early pioneer homes. Pictures were loaned by Dr. Lyman S. Willardson of Brawley, California. Dr. Willardson is the son of Mrs. Alice Willardson and the late Lyman Willardson of Ephraim
