Title Analyzing trade connections in the late bronze age: a study of Greece and Egypt
Date 2020
Description This thesis is a study of the trade records in the Late Bronze Age period in the Mediterranean in order to answer two questions: Was the trading relationship between the Aegean empires and Egypt different, and if so, what could explain those differences? By using extant archaeological data to conduct chi-squared tests alongside a rigorous literature review, I was able to uncover a significant relationship between Egypt and Mycenae that warrants further study.
