Description Two rare cases of ocular neoplasms mimicking neuro-ophthalmic disorders highlight the importance of maintaining a broad differential diagnosis. In the first case, a 49-year-old female patient presented with unilateral decreased color vision/color desaturation and discomfort along with other visual symptoms referred to neuro-ophthalmology clinic for optic neuritis. However, dilated fundus exam revealed a choroidal melanoma. In the second case, a 36-year-old male patient exhibited unilateral eye redness and "stickiness" with eye movements. Exam revealed a salmon-patch overlying the lateral rectus, and biopsy confirmed mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma. These cases underscore how ocular tumors can masquerade as neuro-ophthalmic pathology, delaying appropriate diagnosis and management.
