Location maps showing various Superfund sites within the Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation's properties in western Salt Lake County, Utah, where soil removal took place in the mid-1990s. These maps accompanied the report on the Refinery area sites found in Box 25, folders 3 and 4. Also some historical maps of the area: USGS Technical publication no. 89, plates 1, 2, and 3, showing potential groundwater contamination; a 1934 diagram of "Drainage ditch no. 1, detail of inlet structure for syphon under Jordan River"; a 1936 map of "Appropriation from Bingham Creek, Salt Lake County by Utah Copper Co."; and two plat maps of subdivisions in West Jordan, Utah. This digital file contains the entire contents of folder 4 from box 49 of the Supefund Records Center records collection. |
