Hinterberger Ph.D. Scientist, Environmental Synopsis of Position Provides technical and analytical support in the performance of human health and environmental evaluations. Designs andutilizes computer spreadsheets in order to perform calculations to estimate exposure point concentrations of selected chemicals, human intake factors, ecological intakes and carcinogenic risk: and noccarcinogealc hazard for a wide range of exposure sceaarios, Responsible for the accurate documentation of the risk assessment process on a site-specific basis and risk assessment technical approaches as Standard Opecating Procedures for lCAIR.. Additional responsibilities include evaluation and interpretation of Data Validation reports received by lCAIR in support of the risk assessment process. Dr, Hinterberger has substsntial experience in biochemical research including design and implementation of mutagenicity bioassays of nuclooside analogues and immunoassay development foe protein contaminants in manufactucod products, She has recently functioned as the primary liaison between the Indiana Depactmeo.t of Environ.mental Management (IDEM) and analytical laboratories contacted to support remedial activities under CERCLA., RCRA and SDWA. Currently, Dr, Hinterbecger provides key support to Senior ICAIR toxicologists investigating causal factors of exposure to environmental chemicals responsible for increased human health risk.
