Title Performances of stutterers on the wechsler-bellevue intelligence scale
Publication Type thesis
School or College College of Social & Behavioral Science
Department Psychology
Author Hauck, Paul Anthony
Date 1951
Description The writing of this thesis presupposes two broad assumptions. First, that intelligence tests are constructed in such a way that certain unique groups are handicapped by the items, and secondly, that since stutterers differ in many ways from non-stutterers, there may also be outstanding differences in the performances that stutterers make on certain intelligence tests as compared to normal speakers.
