Show -82- fealty, our unceasing determination, and our absolutely single hearted action until Utah men and women shall in very deed be free in all their rights as citizens, and in the undisputed, unchallenged exercise of all their political privileges. To this purpose we devote our political movements from henceforth, pledging to all that this is not nor will it be an attack upon the Church, nor an interference in any form with the religious relations or affiliations of any man or woman, but solely a warfare for the rights and for the true and lawful peaceful liberties of everyone within the borders of Utah. The time has come to check the encroachments of the in apostolic power politics and in the public schools. We ask in this movement to right the growing wrongs that are so evident in this evil course of the Church leaders; this con fully spiracy of ecclesiastics against personal rights, the support of every lover of his country and everyone who would be freed and who himself would strike the blow. In view of the fact that the American Party is composed of and women of both great national parties, we recommend that no Presidential electors be nominated by the American men Party. in mind that the judiciary should be so far as possible eliminated from political strife, and recognizing the fact that the Third Judicial District Conventions held last Spring were Having free from that domination and dictation which has forced the organization of the American Party, we recommend that no nominations be made by the American Party for Supreme Court Justice, for Judges of the Third District Court or for District Attorney. practically Aside from the Presidential electors, the Supreme and District Court judges and District Attorney, we recommend the nomination of a complete State, County, Legislative and City ticket. We recommend the appointment of a State Central Committee con sisting of five members, composed of the following named gentle men: Mr. P. L. Williams, Mr. J. D. Wood, Mr. A. R. Derge, Mr. Willard F. Snyder, and Mr. P. J. Daly; said Cornmi t tee to have the following powers: 1.
