The center colors behind the beehive symbol represent Utah's history and where we've been. It takes the colors from the soon-to-be-old state flag. It also incorporates the red white and blue colors of our country. The last circle ring is the Utah color "Bee-UTAH-ful" yellow and represents where we're going and the bright future our state has. I added the beehive because it is Utah's symbol. Lastly, the color that covers most of the flag is the color of the red/brown rocks that can be found throughout Utah. It's a reminder that our environment and the earth we call home is precious and we should protect it.
