"My last design, probably my favorite, shows a simple striped background. The Blue represents the endless Sky that I love high in the mountains, the white, the pure snow that turns this state into a wonderland that I cant wait for each year, and the red, represents the amazing Red rock lands to our south that are so important to our state, in beauty and diversity of terrain. In the center, the skull of our state fossil, the Allosaurus. I chose this to represent the rich paleontological history that our state has. There is so much to learn from the past and I feel like our state has more reasons than most to be proud of all that we have risen above. I also put a ring of 29 stars representing the 29 counties, and again the irreplaceable symbol of the beehive and a gold crown of grain to represent the equally rich agricultural centers of the utah communities. I myself am originally from just north of Tremonton and have known more of the farms of Utah than the Cities of Utah. In short, This design it to represent that we know our past, we know our present and we know our future."
