Description Ski Archives Update The work of documenting ski history in the Utah Ski Archives continues at a steady pace. We have been the fortunate recipients of a wide variety of materials in recent months. Lou Lorenz, a past PSIA-I President and member of the Utah Ski Archives advisory board, who has made donations in the past, recently donated additional newsletters and memorabilia, as well as a set of British ski jour- nals that date back to 1915. The Archives has also been able to reproduce photographs of skiers in the Park City and Brighton area from 1914! These exceptional photographs were loaned to the Ski Archives by Frank Whitney. Delightful film footage of Alta skiing was donated by Jim and Dorothy Schaefer, and Bernie Chisolm. Looking toward more recent ski history, University of Utah Ski Coach Pat Miller has made possible the donation of multitudinous materials which document 20 years of University of Utah skiing under his leadership. We are looking forward to the processing of this great collection. If you have information or materials to donate to the Utah Ski Archives, please call Joe Arave at 581-8589 or 581-8864.
