Description To treat the right apogeotropic (beating towards the sky with right ear down and with left ear down - e.g., left beating nystagmus with right supine roll test or with right ear down; right beating nystagmus with left supine roll test or with left ear down) horizontal canal (HC) variant: • The patient is placed in a seated position on the treatment table • With the head in a neutral spine orientation, the patient is quickly moved onto the side ipsilateral to the weaker nystagmus (to the right side in the right apogeotropic variant) and this this position is held for 2 minutes • The patient's head is rotated 45 degrees towards the ceiling and this position is held for 2 minutes • Finally, the patient is brought back into a seated position To treat the right geotropic (beating towards the ground with right ear down and with left ear down - e.g., right beating nystagmus with right supine roll test or with right ear down; left beating nystagmus with left supine roll test or with left ear down) horizontal canal (HC) variant: • The patient is placed in a seated position on the treatment table • With the head in a neutral spine orientation, the patient is quickly moved onto the side ipsilateral to the weaker nystagmus (to the left side in the right geotropic variant) and this this position is held for 2 minutes • The patient's head is rotated 45 degrees towards the ground and this position is held for 2 minutes • Finally, the patient is brought back into a seated position
