Title Measurement of Reading Performance with Rotated Text to Evaluate a Potential Reading Strategy for Patients with Homonymouos Hemianopia
Creator Charest, Monique J; Jakobsen, L S; ten Hove, M W
Subject Homonymous Hemianopia; Reading Performance; Mental Rotation Ability
Description A 90° planar rotation of text may ease the reading difficulties associated with homonymous hemianopia by allowing more text to be viewed by the reader. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of reading performance that could be achieved by neurologically normal readers trained to read rotated text, and to determine whether task performance might be related to mental rotation ability.
