Description These photographs were taken for the 1944-1945 edition of the Uintah High School Yearbook. They are located on page 35. The photograph in the top left corner is of the members of the Senior Band gathered outside of the Uintah High School. The band members are in uniform and carrying their instruments. These band members are unidentified. The rectangular photograph on the right side of the page is of the Banner Carriers for the band. From left to right: unidentified girl, unidentified girl, unidentified girl. The banner the girl in the center is carrying says: "Vernal Uintah High School". The circular photograph on the right side of the page is of the instructor of the senior band: Clyde L. Johnson. The photograph in the bottom left corner of the page is of the Senior Band and Banner Carriers marching down Main Street in the V-E Day Parade. NOTE: V-E day was "Victory in Europe Day" on May 8, 1945, which celebrated Nazi Germany's unconditional surrender to the allies and the resulting end of World War II.
