Description Sketch of the view north (looking downstream) along the course of Razor Creek to where it joins Cochetopa Creek, drawn by Richard H. Kern during the Gunnison expedition on 5 September of 1853." Shlaer notes that the caption on this depiction "Cochetopa Cr. (near its junction with Grand R.)"is incorrect. The scene depicted is "Razor Creek near its junction with Cochetopa Creek, which in turn joins the Grand (now Gunnison) River at the town of Gunnison some 10 miles downstream (west) from this location.
