|The majority of Americans do not meet dietary recommendations. Diet is the single most significant risk factor for disability and premature death. Less nutritious items lead sales at most hospital and cafeteria food service venues. Mission: To make the healthy choice, the easy choice at the University of Utah; What is RD Approved?: Registered Dietitian Approved is a food and beverage initiative which utilizes nutrition criteria to denote and market healthy offerings campus wide.
