Show This book, The Etching of Contemporary Life,wa written for the Chicago Society of Etchers by Fran ‘Weitenkampf, Director of the Art Department o the New York Public Library. The etching, Qu Neighbor's Yard, was made by Ernest D. Roth o New York, purc by ase the Society, two hundre andseventy copiesmadeand the platedestroyed.I addition tothe purchase price, Mr.Roth wasaward edaprizeoffiftydollarsoffered byanassociate member to the successful competitor. The paper fo this book was made by Dard Hunter, eac sheet separately in a hand-mould, with th seal of the Society as water-mark.
