He was of the Opinion " "ithat a centralized storeroom should be provided for, where this equipment could be inventoried from time to time and made available to the Departments in need of it, instead of allowing such equipment to become the property of the various departments, thereby limiting its use for University purpbses. He recommended the purchase of a movie camera and projector, needed, at a cost of approximately $56h.00. if so Regent Christensen moved that the amount, or as much thereof as is necessary, be appropriated for this purchase. V Motion was duly seconded and carried. On motion of Regent Shields, seconded and carried, the President was requested to provide a centralized storeroom where this type of equipment "Wilcould be stored and used by the different departments as required in their work, in the place of allowing each department to have control over the 'equipment purchased by it. 7 On motion of Regent Christensen, seconded by Regent Hughes, and on , irecommendation of the President, and Prof. M. Cl Barlow, head of the a niméifigsychology Department, Niels John Frederick Van Steenberg, was appointed instructor in the Department of Psychology for the academic year 1936-7, ""at a salary of $2500.00. This appointment becomes necessary due to the continued leave of absence granted Prof. Dorothy Nyswander for 1936-7. The President recommended the appointment of Chas. W. Wonder as .instructor of modern languages at the Training School for the year 1936-7 at a salary of $1600.00. This appointment is made necessary due to the resignation of Miss Eleanor Emmett, effective July l, 1936. On motion the |of Regent Shields, duly seconded and carried, the Board accepted Wonder resignation of Miss Emmett and approved the appointment of Chas. W.
