Show - The transbasin diversion of Uintah Basin Water to the Wasatch Front - when water is already available in Salt Lake and Utah counties - deprives Uintah Basin of water needed there for its growth and development and for Indian Tribal obligations!. DO YOU CARE • • • • THAT CUP DEVELOPMENT . • . - will bring about a loss of some 319 miles of Utah's valuable and irreplaceable Class I, II, and III trout streams and their associated wildlife and recreation resources ? - will bring about losses of Utah's valuable deer winter range, stream valley moose habitat, Upland Game and non-game birds and mammals? - through diking over one third of Utah Lake, the wetland and zootic resources making Utah Lake unique to the State and possibl y to the nation, will be eliminated ? White-faced Ibis, Black-crowned and Blue herons, snowy egrets, Cormorants and Pelicans, varieties of shorebirds and waterfowl, Canada geese, as well as food supply and spawning sources for the existing fisheries. Recreation values will be greatly altered, some completely lost. - the two most outstanding canyons on the Uinta Range - Rock Creek and Whiterocks - and their valuable trout streams - will be destroyed ?
