Note Each spectrogram has two versions with identical metadata for each date and location. Those spectrograms labeled with an ''h'' are adjusted to show only the sounds from the recording that are humanly audible, while their corollaries (without an ''h'') show the full spectrum of the recording. Spectral images are taken from calibrated sound level measurements and are displayed in 1/3 octave band frequencies on a logarithmic scale from 0-4000 Hertz.

Digitization Specifications 72 ppi PNG files 1280 pixels in width are converted to 300 ppi TIFF files 2700 pixels in width in Photoshop CS2. The TIFF files are then imported into CONTENTdm and converted to JP2000 files at 15:1 compression rate.
