Show COLLEGIATE LIFE <br><br> AN INCIDENT IN THE WYOMING FIRE. <br> It was early in January, and the weather throughout the day was beautiful. It was now growing late in the evening, and the shadows of night had cast its wings over all; only the chug of the engines and machinery of the mining mill could be heard and the faint glimmer of the lights as they shown through the windows could be seen. Everything gave evidence that the inhabitants of the little town were asleep. <br> There was, however, one other who was wide awake and seemingly happy. It was Minnie Hall, whose father was depot agent of the town station. For a number of years it had always been Minnie's custom to watch the telegraph instruments and look after the affairs of the station when any train was late. In this way she became well known along the line, and had made many acquaintances. <br> One train, however, seemed to be of more interest to her than any other; it was No. 76, and it happened that on this night No. 7 |
