HAWKES. <br><br> Prayer Meeting Topic for Today. <br> True Wisdom-Getting it, Using it, Jas. 3:13-18. <br> We are met at every turn throughout our lives with grave problems which require solution before further advancement can be made. And how often we long and wish for superhuman wisdom to decide what is right and will result to our best welfare. At all such times we should call to mind the scripture, "If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him." With faith in the promises we should trust wholly in the Lord for guidance. <br> The only sure place that we can receive understanding from on high is on our knees. There we may learn to be as "wise as serpents and as harmless as doves."
