| Description |
The Lucia Eugenia Lamb Everett Diary (1862) was written during a part of Everett's journey across the plains with her new husband. The inside front cover of the diary contains an obituary of Lucia Everett, as well as small photographs of her and her husband which were apparently added after her death. Notes in the inside flyleaf were added by the Everett's daughter, Harriet Evalyn Everett. In the diary, Everett (1840-1918) describes scenes of the trail, including buffalo skulls, encounters with Indians, and the crossings of the rivers and creeks. The diary ends just west of Fort Laramie on July 6, 1862. |

Lighting provided by Kaiser Softlite ProVision 6x55W fluorescent 5400K daylight lights.
