Description The Western Federation of Watercolor Societies is a collective partnership amongst several Watercolor Societies in the Western United States. Every year this federation sponsors an annual juried exhibition of collage and water-based media. The twentieth annual watercolor exhibition was hosted by the Watercolor Arts Society - Houston at the Transco Plaza Gallery. Virginia Cobb juried the show. The Best of Show award winner was Artifact Sixteen by Elaine Holien, a member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society. The David Dale Memorial award winner was Smoke Storm by Jerry Seagle, a member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society. The president of the Watercolor Arts Society - Houston was Gerry Finch, 1994-1995.
