Image of Seven stars with circle quilt created in 1890 by Unknown quilter . Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Della H. Armstrong as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. Purchased by owner's grandmother at Vancouver, Washington, while traveling in 1890s, brought back to Utah. Grandmother was traveling with grandfather who was a railroad builder in ran convert, Washington. This top was purchased from a woman in the train station (who was nearly blind) for $4.00 |
