In the night to warm m. self, I would get in the water until I was soaking wet, and then I would get out and then get back in, and I lasted three days like that without eating, just drinking warm water. Everyday when I would come out, the bright sunlight would shine in with the water. The light would shine in front of the cave or be it better said the bottom of the cave which served to go out from the south side. I could see the light coming with the water, and I would look outside because the water goes out about so much underneath where the rocks were. That day I was looking outside and I could not see any horses or signs nor that there were any people. Well, it must have been about twelve o'clock noon when a shepherd came down. There was a small lamb who had gotten close to where I was, but it was on the opposite side of me. I stopped all that I could, but I did not know how to swim, and I was afraid to swim even though it was not deep. I was afraid that the current would take me and drown me and then I was very weak. Nevertheless, I saw the person who was with the sheep, and he happened to be my uncle, brother of my great grandmother. |
