Show JUN KURUMADA PRI l 20 l JUN: time when I entered dental school, why my older brother was in medical cho l and o she wanted a physician and a dentist in the family and she thought the younger broth r would go into the field of business, which he did. And I don't know whether any part was correlated in respect with each other, but that's the field we followed. So as we grew up my older brother has two, well, he has three doctors in the family and I have one son that's a movie producer and one that's a lawyer and one that's a photographer for television. BEC: JUN: BEC: JUN: Oh. You have three sons, too? No. I have four sons. Four sons. Yes. My youngest one, well there, well, all the boys, graduated from the University here and took post-graduate work at NYU. And my second son graduated here with a law degree, so he's practicing law. And the third one, he got his degree from Colorado College in the field of journalism. And the last boy, he also graduated from the University of Utah, but then he followed a course in linguistics. Aside from being within the area of linguistics, he is presently a computer science teacher at Humboldt College in California, besides being a director of this Zivio dance group. Now, I don't know whether you've heard about this, these Balkan dances, the Polish dances, the Austrian dancessongs and dances and their native areas of celebration where they dance and sing in Austrian and Polish. And he directed two shows at the Kingsbury Hall. And it was rather strange because he had studied linguistics to the point where he plays all the native instruments, sings all the native songs, and dances all the native dances. 6 |
