Show TERVIEW WIT 0 TERVIEWER IS BECKY B. LLOYD. T LEGACY: ORAL HISTORY OF UTAH'S WORLD TAPE NO. 671. BEC: This is an interview with Ora Mae Sorensen Hyatt at her home in Orem, Utah. Today's date is June 29, 2004. This is part of the Saving the Legacy project, and my name is Becky Lloyd. I went to school in Manti, graduated from high school, and then I attended Snow College in Ephraim for two quarters. But I wanted to go into nurses training, and that's another story. I really wanted to be an air stewardess, and that was because I received a book one year for Christmas called, ''Jane, Stewardess of the Airlines". And. I wanted to be a stewardess. That sounded so exciting to me, and I wanted to travel. I looked at the map of the world and thought I would like to visit those places, because I grew up never leaving Manti until I was out of high schooL I thought if I could be an air stewardess, then I could travel and |
