Her father is the blind preacher at the chaple, and often this tiny girl or her older sister will lead him to church. He is very fond of his wee-girl and calls her"Gift of Gold." Next comes "l.fr Li's Second Daughter". She likes to play on the floor and loves the rag dollies. She wears a cap of the brightest colors and has pockets on her bib. Right in front of the mulberry tree stands the little Chia. girl. Her name means "Cared for" or "Kept". Her tiny brother"Honor" stands last in the line. Th ey have heard stories of the Christian grand-parents, who in the Boxer Year suffered martyrdom rather than give up their faith in God.
