Show It will be seen that just now the greatest need is for equipment. We need beds, their accessories tables, chairs, utensils, and the many other details of equipment essential to even the most simply furnished institution. We have never yet made a direct appeal por funds, but the splended privilege of aiding in this equipment compels us to call attention to this opportunity. Once started we are confident the Tehchow community will aid in maintenance From the list of things we give below it will be seen there are ways of taking practical shares in a proposition that has "made good" in the past, and that will "make better" in the future. Sums from a few cents to twenty dollars (for a bed), or to nine hundred dollars for a memorial pavilion, indicate that the opportunity is within the range of all. The stock is all "preferred" and dividends certain. As to whether others feel the need as do those near at hand, we will simply refer to the four letters at the close of the report, but when a deputation from American churches with first hand knowledge writes in such terms, and the motion is so strongly seconded by the President of the Woman's Board of Missions of the Interior, we may at least claim we are not exaggerating. Besides, Dr. A H. Smith, author and missionary statesman, says "The financial statement shows how comparatively small a sum is needed to complete a great work.
