Jays, and all are happy when the Christmas presents are given out.-The children were a bit tired before the play was over with and were glad when it was time for their gifts to be given out. We had planned for two of the older girls from the boarding school to play Santa Claus and give out the gifts but the time of the boys' school play was changed to that same afternoon, so they could not come and we let the children in the play give out the presents. The dolls for the girls of course were just the thing to make them happy, and tops for the boys made them get right down on the floor and try them out. Each one also had a scrap book with lovely colored pictures and a box of colored crayons, and some odd toys.
