On September 20, 2017 Hurricane Maria struck the island of Puerto Rico. The effects of the hurricane halted production at Baxter Medical's three plants located on the island. This document takes a look at how Intermountain Healthcare, headquartered in Salt Lake City, dealt with the effects of the hurricane within the supply chain.
