The United States has been engaged in a "War on Terror" since September 12, 2001. Within the last two presidential administrations the use of drones to target and kill "suspected" terrorists has increased. This method of force is carried out by members of the Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A.) and is conducted outside of acknowledged war zones. This project explores and exposes the problematic characteristics of the C.I.A. drone program and how these characteristics increase anti-American sentiment, rendering the program counterproductive which ultimately decreases the safety of the United States and Americans at home and abroad. In addition to the written materials, images were created as an awareness campaign to raise public consciousness concerning drone policies. |
