Description Despite American Academy of Pediatrics' (AAP) Bright Futures anticipatory guidance recommendations for safe firearm storage in the homes where children live and play, research shows that even pediatricians self-report poor adherence to the delivery of this life saving anticipatory guidance. Not all children in America have a pediatrician as their primary care provider (PCP). Research regarding other board-certified clinicians' adherence to providing families with this guidance is essentially nil. This work's purpose is to increase compliance of all board-certified primary care providers' to providing Bright Futures' safe firearm storage guidance. The intervention is a professionally developed video of a pediatric trauma nurses' journey into the realms of pediatric gun death in America. The intervention is a professionally developed video that takes the audience into a level one pediatric trauma center and pediatric firearm trauma case scenarios.
