Sweazey, <br> Salt Lake City. <br><br> Dear Mr. Sweazey: <br><br> I enclose bills in duplicate for books bought of Wilkinson and Son during January, 1906. The bills this for submitted represent all of our purchases to date. <br><br> Had planned to be in Salt Lake today but railroads refused me half fare permit stating that Utah lines had entered agreement not to issue any more half fare rates to mission teachers. I wrote to Frank Davis and in his reply he went on to say that he understood that no more clergy certificates would be issued. As several of our teachers have already several of our teachers have already secured annual certificate - for 1906 he is evidently mistaken in that <br> [Continues on next page.] <br><br> |

In this letter to George B. Sweazey, John M. Cathcart writes that he has enclosed with his letter bills for books bought from Wilkinson and Son. He then explains that his plans to be in Salt Lake City, Utah, have been postponed due to the cancellation of the railroad half-fare permits previously issued to mission teachers. Mr. Sweazey is the principal of the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute of Salt Lake City, Utah. |
