Description |
Chair of the Department of Anatomy, 1947-1974. Dr. Dougherty was born in Forman, N.D. in 1915. He received his B.S. from the University of Minnesota in 1936, his M.A. in 1937 and his Ph.D. in 1942. He was a Fellow at the University of Oklahoma, 1937-1939 and a Teaching Assistant at Minnesota 1939-1942. He was an International Cancer Foundation Fellow at Yale 1942-1943 and Instructor of Anatomy and Hematology 1943-1947. He became Professor of Anatomy and Chair of the Department of Anatomy at the University of Utah in 1947. Dr Dougherty died in 1974. |
