Description |
Dr Mauger was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1942. He received his B.S. from Union College in Albany, N.Y. in 1965. Dr Mauger received both his M.S (1968) and his Ph.D. in pharmaceutics in 1971 from the University of Rhode Island. Dr Mauger joined the faculty of the College of Pharmacy at West Virginia University in 1971 where he became the inaugural holder of the Douglas Glover endowed chair. Dr Mauger moved to the University of Nebraska Medical in 1980 as Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr Mauger became Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Utah in 1994. During his tenure at the University, Dr Mauger served as Chair of the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention and was elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr Mauger retired in 2009. |
