Image of Embroidered Block quilt created in 1942 by members of the Rebekah Lodges in Utah. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Mary Cotter as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. Daughters of Rebekah is a service organization and a branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. This quilt includes four repeated symbols: the beehive, the dove, the lily, and the new moon with seven stars. It serves as a record of the Rebekah Lodges ... in Utah in 1942 |
