Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Roma Thomson Freeman as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. Estimated date of fabric in quilt-1800s; Martha made quilts for pleasure, to give as gifts, and out of necessity; when she was ten years old, she won the Buttonhole prize for the State of New York; present owner, Roma inherited this quilt from her mother in 1980 |
