Description |
Globally, the use of electronic cigarettes and vaping is booming and their use is increasingly controversial. To effectively face this new challenge, health care professionals need to become more familiar with the existing literature concerning e-cigarettes. The purpose of this paper is to examine the perception that adolescents have regarding e-cigarettes compared to health care providers. This review analyzes the actual short-term and potential long-term threats e-cigarettes pose to individual health. Our goal is to increase awareness and knowledge of the consumer, and bring to light the harmful effects of vaping by educating the provider and users of e-cigarettes. |
