Description |
Thousands of animals in Utah are homeless due to pet overpopulation (Best Friends Animal Society Utah, 2012). It is essential that there is more animal welfare education available for current and future pet owners in Salt Lake County. The purpose of this project is to educate and motivate people to provide better care for their animals. My project will help people learn about the benefits of spaying and neutering cats and dogs, as well as the reasons why an animal should be licensed and micro-chipped. It will also teach potential owners how to pick the right animal according to their lifestyle in order to ensure the pet will become a lifetime family member. |
