The findings presented here shed light on the impacts of the travel seminar on the classroom practices of MAT graduates. This study, in comparison with the research surrounding international experiences for pre-service teachers, illustrated that the MAT travel seminar has positively impacted graduates' pedagogy even years after graduation through expanding empathy and understanding. The data collected revealed five major themes; three that speak to pedagogical impacts and two programmatic critiques. Though the findings are limited and preliminary, they still hold impactful information for the future of the MAT Travel Seminar. |
