Professor Muhammed Zayan al-Jazairi, Dean of Arts, King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah, SAUDI ARABIA Dear Professor Zayan al-Jazairi: In efforts to expand the Arabic collection at the Marriott Library, University of Utah, I should be interested in establishing a publication exchange program with your university* Professor Aziz Atiya, Distinguished Professor of History at the University of Utah, suggested I write you personally with regard to establishing a publication exchange program. As you are probably aware, Dr. Atiya has been instrumental in building the Marriott Library's Middle East Library's Arabic collection and he is interested, as I am, in acquiring Arabic materials from Saudi Arabia. For the purpose of establishing a publication exchange program, we are enclosing a list of serial titles available on exchange from the Gifts and Exchanges Division, Marriott Library, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT 84112, U.S.A. - the address to which all correspondence should be directed* If you, your department or other divisions of King Abdul Sziz University are interested in obtaining any of these titles we should be pleased to hear from you. In return we should be interested in hearing what titles you can offer us on exchange. we do hope you will consider our proposal for the establishment of a publication exchange program.
