Show jeiwhcH Alexandre Papadopoulo 138,bd. de la Republique, (92210) Saint-Cloud. France, November 15th 1975. Dear Professor Attiya, Thank you for your kind letter of October 29. I am glad to inform you that the complete set of a Revue du Caire has been sent on the 6th of November by surface mail.I would have prefered sending it by air of course but the cost seemed to me prohibitive, although of course it was to be paid by the University. By surface mail the two packages should arrive in about one month from the date of departure. Copies of the invoice have been included in the packages, but I am sending today the original invoice to the Libraries, with xerox copies of the receipts from the Post Office.I would appreciate if the Library Administration took steps to pay the invoice right away, without waiting for the arrival of the packages, considering the delay by surface mail. After all one normally pays for goods before taking them away. I hope,Dear Professor Attiya that you will be able to settle this little matter with the library Administration before leaving. I take this opportunity to wish you a very pleasant holiday in Egypt. If you have plans to stop in Paris, please let me know in advance. In the meantime and with best wishes for your trip,I remain,Dear Professor Attiya Tours sincerely, /^J^~i INCLo. l)A copy of the invoice. 2)A copy of the letter sent to the Libraries. f^J ^Jr tr/*nr |
