Show lessons, Spring/Summer 2002 page 25 Crew Sarah Birdsall is a senior in mass communication with an emphasis in graphic design and photography. After graduation she plans to stay in Utah working in electronic graphic design for the print media. jacqueline cheney is a senior majoring in mass communication with an emphasis in news/editorial. She has interned at the Deseret News in Salt Lake City and the Post Register in Idaho Falls. She has also written news and features for the Daily Utah Chronicle. She plans on writing for a city newspaper or magazine in the future. LISA FRASIER is a graduate student and teaching fellow in the department of communication. She loves teaching and learning about writing and editing and is looking forward to completing her studies this May. Craig Froehlich is a transfer student from Michigan. He is a senior in mass communication who hopes to continue writing and pursuing hobbies such as filmmaking and photography. Deb Jensen is a senior majoring in anthropology. After graduating next year, she plans to pursue a career in archaeology. Because of her outside interests in photography and writing, Deb became involved with lessons, which gave her the opportunity she needed to wet her feet in the world of publishing. LISA LEPENDU is a graduate student developing her editing skills in the department of communication. Her emphasis is in technical writing and the medical field. Darleen Meier is a senior majoring in mass communication with an emphasis in public relations. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career as a magazine writer or editor. She has served as editorial intern at Estates West magazine. robin moore is a graduate of the department of communication. She currently works as a freelance graphic designer. Robin Thomas is a senior majoring in mass communication and minoring in business. After graduation, she plans to work in marketing. Robin currently co-hosts the television program Utah WILD, which airs monthly on KUED. Stephen Zank is a sophomore studying theatrical lighting and design. He enjoys photography and plans to pursue it more aggressively in the future. These are great résumé-building positions as they will provide you with a chance to have your work published in a professional journal.
