The conclusion was-reached that such was not the intention of Congress "bat that inmesteatd dntries for these lands should be required to ba nada 3ub,}aat- to the payment required by the first aot and* in hi3 decision of June 13, 1905, tha Secretary of tha Interior concurred In ths recommendation of this office ani directed that tha payment be not exacted until tha submission of final proof, in compliance with thesa instructions, entrymen of Uintah lands have been raquired to pay only tha usual faes and commissions at the tiara of maJtlng entry and to pay :jl.25 an acre for xbs land when final proof is submitted.
